Weekend Events In OKC November 8-10

GET OUT AND ENJOY THIS WEEKEND! THERE’S LOTS GOING ON.

The Lucas Oil American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show is going on now through the 23rd in Oklahoma City at State Fair Arena. From halter to reining and jumping to trail, the AQHA World Championship show has something for everyone! I will be there on Monday from 4 to 6 inside the Arena entrance.

The Devon Ice Rink returns for its ninth season in the Myriad Botanical Gardens now through the beginning of February. Open seven days a week, the Devon Ice Rink hosts daily public skating, private parties and special events 

In fact, all of Downtown OKC is turned into a winter wonderland during the annual Downtown in December celebration. You can go snow tubing down the nation's largest man-made slope, take free water taxi excursions on the magically lit Bricktown Canal, enjoy free museum Sundays, and lots of holiday cheer for the entire family. 

Mistletoe Market is going on all weekend at the Cox Convention Center in Downtown Oklahoma City. You’ll find great gifts including home decor, women's clothing and accessories, Christmas decor, food, jewelry, stationary and more. 

OKC City Rep theater presents the Tony Award nominated show "A Doll's House, Part 2". I saw this show, and loved it.The whole cast is outstanding! The show runs through November 24th at the Civic Center Music Hall.

Also going on this weekend at the Civic Center, The Oklahoma City Philharmonic's Pops Concert Series with Broadway star Megan Hilty.  

Blanchard is hosting a Veterans Day Celebration tomorrow (Saturday) with a great parade.

Head to Stillwater for some basketball, as the Oklahoma State Cowboys take on Kansas City Roos at Gallagher-Iba Arena.Tipoff is at 1pm. You can hear all the action on 96.1 KXY.
