Union City Announces Their Shelter Is Empty, All Animals Adopted

In a post on Facebook the Union City Police Department Chief, Richard Stephens, announced that the cities Animal Shelter is now empty!

"Many, Many Thanks to all our followers for the support and shares.

Our Animal Shelter is empty today. All of our precious little furry friends have been adopted by new, loving families.

This only works because of a couple of things.

1. The wonderful support and shares by our members and supporters. Thank you so much for all your help.

2. The tireless and often thankless work of Animal Control Officer, David Jones and his wonderful family who help out every day with this desperately needed job.

We have been blessed to provide a no kill shelter up to this point over the past several years.

It doesn’t come easy.

Congratulations to those who have worked so hard to give life to this program and these sweet pets."
