A Greyhound bus driver ruined a trip for dozens of passengers when he left the driving to...nobody -- by bailing on his job midway through a trip from Texas to Arizona.
The driver, whose name was not released, pulled over for a scheduled pit stop roughly 90 minutes into his trek out of Dallas. But as 20 minutes turned into 40, then 60, passengers grew restless -- and found out that he had simply walked off the job without warning, leaving them stranded in Abilene for what ended up being a nine-hour layover.
One passenger said that Greyhound did spring for a free meal for everyone on board -- but hadn't responded to requests for a refund. (KHQ)
