A PBS station in Arkansas is refusing to air an episode of the children's cartoon 'Arthur' according to 40/29 TV because it features two men marrying.
AETN released the following statement:
"While ideally parents watch our programming with their children and discuss it afterwards, the reality is that many children, some of them younger than age four, watch when a parent is not in the room" and "In realizing that many parents may not have been aware of the topics of the episode beforehand, we made the decision not to air it".
Alabama Public Television also decided not to air the episode.
