Narcan Inventor Uses Narcan To Save Man's Life

Coincidence or fate? The inventor of NARCAN, Roger Crystal, was driving through the streets of Los Angeles on Friday with his wife when they spotted a man having an apparent opioid overdose.

The couple who are both medically-trained pulled over to help according to NBC Los Angeles who obtained video of Crystal administering NARCAN to the man.

“Yes, I am medically trained, but you can probably see from the shot that anyone can put the nasal spray up someone’s nose,” Crystal said. “It was at least that initial step to allow him to be on his way to recovery from the overdose.”
