If you are looking for fun things to do during the holiday break, there are some great choices for the whole family!

ICE SKATING anyone?

*Open seven days a week, the Devon Ice Rink at Myriad Gardens, hosts daily public skating, private parties and special events through January.

OR- Enjoy holiday ice skating in Mitch Park at the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink. The largest metropolitan area ice rink offers free adjacent parking, open sessions, concessions, safety helmets, WiFi and indoor restrooms.

Midwest City Holiday Lights Spectacular is open through Dec 25th at Joe B Barnes Regional Park

Chickasha Festival of Light  is open through Dec 31st in Shannon Springs Park

Christmas in the Park is open through Dec 31st at the Yukon City Park, Freedom Trail Park & Chisholm Trail Park

Lights From the Heart is happening in Purcell, OK through Jan 1st, 2019 at Purcell Lake

Downs Family Christmas Lights continues through January 1st at 2900 72nd Ave SE in Norman, Oklahoma. This is one of the most spectacular light displays at a private residence in Oklahoma.

OTHER HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS-

Celebrate the Christmas season at Oklahoma City's Red Earth Art Center during the festive Red Earth Treefest. This features 25 Christmas trees adorned with handmade ornaments created to show the diverse Native cultures that make Oklahoma unique.

Experience the magic of a million lights sparkling throughout Frontier City Theme Park. At the annual Holiday in the Park event in Oklahoma City, feel the fast-paced thrills of roller coasters and other rides while enjoying all of the winter festivities, from the 20-foot pixel tree to holiday-themed shows.

In Guthrie, Oklahoma, Step back in time at A Territorial Christmas Celebration featuring a live theatre production, historic home tours, live performances and so much more!

Get in the holiday spirit with a festive ride on the Christmas Express. Board this Oklahoma City train from the Oklahoma Railway Museum on Grand, to make holiday. This holiday train ride also features Christmas carols, cookies, a visit with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, and goodies bags for kids. Trains leave the Depot Saturday at 9am, 10:30am, 12pm, 1:30pm & 3pm.

Head to Guthrie to see how the angel gets his wings in the Pollard Theatre presents: It's a Wonderful Life. This beloved holiday classic tells the story of George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

Oklahoma City Ballet presents: "The Nutcracker" through December 23rd at the Civic Center Music Hall.
