A Florida woman wasn't the only passenger when her boyfriend was pulled over for running a stop sign in a rural area of Punta Gorda, Florida -- she also had an alligator tucked down in her yoga pants.
The woman, whose name was not released, told a trooper that she and her guy were trying to collect frogs and snakes from a marsh before they were stopped. When asked what they'd come up with, the 25-year-old female opened the backpack at her feet, revealing 42 small three-striped mud turtles and one softshell turtle.Â
She also admitted that she had one more item to declare before reaching into her yoga pants and removing the foot-long gator -- which is illegal to possess. The reptiles were seized and released.
