John Anderson has been making music in Nashville for nearly fifty years. With his distinctive voice and hits such as “I’m Just an Old Chunk of Coal (But I’m Gonna Be a Diamond Someday)” and “Swingin’,” he helped usher in country music’s neotraditionalist movement of the 1980s. His hot streak continued into the 1990s with “Straight Tequila Night,” “Seminole Wind,” and “Money in the Bank.”
