Tim McGraw will take the stage for the first time ever at the Field of Dreams movie site, the country megastar announced on Thursday (January 16).

The Iowa field is the site from the 1989 film starring Kevin CostnerJames Earl Jones and Ray Liotta. It follows “Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella (who) is inspired by a voice he can't ignore to pursue a dream he can hardly believe. Supported by his wife, Ray begins the quest by turning his ordinary cornfield into a place where dreams can come true,” reads its description on IMDb. The movie was directed by Phil Alden Robinson.

“I know my dad would have loved to see this one,” McGraw said, referring to his late father, Tug McGraw, who played for the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies during his Major League Baseball career. Tug McGraw died in January 2004 in Brentwood, Tennessee. He was 59. McGraw said as he announced his one-night only show at the “legendary” site, “let’s make history together.”

McGraw’s historic, “once in a lifetime” show is set to take place on August 30 at the site in Dyersville, Iowa. The presale will start on Monday (January 20) at 9 a.m. CT, per McGraw’s announcement. See it here:
