LeAnn Rimes said it’s “wild” to approach the 30th anniversary of her iconic studio album, Blue.
The powerhouse artist released the award-winning record in July 1996. She turned 14 years old the following month. Rimes, who recently announced her Greatest Hits Christmas album and holiday tour, told Entertainment Tonight that it’s “wild to think about” the 30-year mark approaching in 2026.
“I look back at that. It’s so nostalgic,” Rimes said. “I’ve been fortunate to have, not one song like that, but multiple in my career. And that just — it will never get old. It will never get old.” Rimes, now 43, added that she would tell her 13-year-old self “so many things. I think the one thing I always go back to is, listen to your inner voice because there’s so many freaking opinions coming at you and you kind of lose track of that along the way. So, always listen to that because it never steers you off.”
The singer-songwriter and actress caught up with ET at ABC's End Of Summer Soirée, which took place earlier this month at Cecconi's West Hollywood in West Hollywood, California. Rimes spoke about the soon-to-premiere series, 9-1-1: Nashville, which she stars in alongside Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey. Country star Kane Brown will appear as a guest star. Rimes teased “music” and “drama” with ET at the End Of Summer Soirée, and previously said she “can’t wait for you to meet my character.”
9-1-1: Nashville is set to premiere on Thursday, October 9. The show will air on ABC and will be available to stream on Hulu.
