Trisha Yearwood is getting into the holiday spirit early.

The award-winning country icon announced on Wednesday (September 10) that she’s releasing a Christmas album and embarking on her “12 Days of Christmas Tour,” featuring stunning performances with local symphonies at each destination. Grammy-winning producer Don Was teamed up with Yearwood on Christmastime. The festive record features composer David Campbell’s arrangements and the Georgia-born singer’s “powerhouse vocals” on “beloved classics, unexpected reimagining’s, and brand-new originals,” reads a press release issued Wednesday morning. One of the original tracks is “Merry Christmas, Valentine,” which Yearwood’s husband, fellow country star Garth Brooks, co-wrote and performed. See the track list here:

1.     Christmastime is Here

2.     Blue Christmas

3.     Cool Yule

4.     My Favorite Things

5.     You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch

“Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of year, and these songs mean so much to me,” said Yearwood. “To be able to perform them with a full symphony brings the magic to another level. I can’t wait to share this music and celebrate the season with fans on tour.”

Yearwood’s Christmastime announcement arrives shortly after she released The Mirror, her highly-anticipated 16th studio album. The 15-track project is made up entirely of tracks that Yearwood co-wrote for the first time in her career. Yearwood said in a statement at that time: “When I was 19 years old someone told me I wasn’t a songwriter, and I let that be the truth for a very long time. But at some point in the past few years, something shifted and I started writing and then just never stopped. You’d think that after all this time I’d have nothing new to share, but now I feel like I’m on a whole new adventure.”

Christmastime will arrive on November 7. The “12 Days of Christmas Tour” will begin on December 2 in Nashville, Tennessee. Tickets will be available on Friday (September 12). See the list of tour stops below.
