A man jumped the fence at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens at the Jaguars enclosure and stuck his hand in their cage. Not sure if he just wanted to pet the kitty or the heat was just getting to him, but the Jaguar bit his hand and bloodied it enough that he had to go to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The Jaguar is fine.
Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens aren't filing charges (at least as of right now).
Glad everyone is OK, but this guy deserves the title of "Lerp of the week". Finally a use for the word!
