After multiple legal battles over State Question 820, the petition to legalize recreational marijuana in Oklahoma will NOT be on the November ballot.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court today denied the group's request to allow it to go to a statewide vote in November after missing the deadline to appear on the ballot.

The petition (SQ820) received enough votes to be placed on the ballot, however, due to a new verification system, the process to confirm signatures was delayed and deadlines set by the State Election Board were missed.
