This isn't one of those lists we want to see Oklahoma City be at the top of, especially if you're someone who rents your home or apartment.
Rent is up approximately 9% across the nation compared to this time last year, however, rent in OKC is up a whopping 24.1%. We had the largest year-over-year increase in the country!
22 states saw increases compared to last year with two of them being above 20% (Pittsburgh was the other one).
Oklahoma doesn't appear to have any laws limiting how much a landlord can increase your rent by (or how often) either.
